A Dance For Spring

Today was bright,breezy,playful.

We could smell the coming of spring.

The golden light of evening called to us.

It is easy to get lost in these fields.

They are a part of me, as I hope they will

become a part of her as the years go by.

Youth passes so quickly. In the blink of an eye.

Today I watch her, I can almost see her growing

as she dances to the song of the sun.

A dance for spring to come to us and

linger for awhile.

One more light breeze, one more twirl,

one more look across this field before the night

comes to us.

We want to stay here forever in this very moment.
